NICE TO MEET YOU!

WHERE LATIN HERITAGE, AND MAGIC REALISM MEET SUSTAINABILITY

Aureliana Candles was born from the hearts of three Latinas living abroad, united by a deep love for their roots and the beauty of their land — and a German innovator and his son who mastered the art of sustainable candle making through an extraordinary process called REWAX (Recycled Wax).

To us, it’s pure magic: transforming discarded matter into something luminous — a symbol of rebirth and purpose.

Together, we created Aureliana, inspired by Aureliano Buendía from One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez, as a tribute to the soul of Latin America. Through our candles, we celebrate the essence of its towns — their stories, their colors, and their unending warmth — inviting the world to fall in love with their magic.

CREATED BY LATIN HEARTS AND PRODUCEN IN GERMANY. AURELIANA IS AN INVITATION TO ROMANTICIZE LIFE, HONOR NATURE, AND ILUMINATE MOMENTS WITH MEANING.

MEET OUR PUEBLITOS

OUR INSPIRATION

BARICHARA

A heaven of beauty and a paradise shaped by the skilled hands of Colombian artesanos who mold clay made from stardust. Here, the ordinary is transformed into the extraordinary. Barichara’s unique nature offers the world everlasting blossoms to adorn the casitas, while the enchanted hummingbirds stand guard, ensuring the mystical magical endures for eternity. Make a wish if you see a hummingbird!

NUQUÍ

A pueblito like no other, where the Pacific Ocean embraces the jungle and magic weaves through every moment. Whales sing songs that turn into clouds, toucans deliver enchanted messages, rain whispers the ocean's deepest secrets, and at night, the sea glows with luminous plankton, believed to be spirits guiding those who dare to dream.

PROVIDENCIA

According to legend, on Providencia Island, nestled in the Caribbean ocean, an unexplainable dancing force swept the island. It started with one person but soon every islander and every undersea creature were caught in an uncontrollable dance. This anomaly still lingers, making life in the Island an eternal carnival. Colorful wooden casitas reflect the islanders' cheerful spirit, while palms, infused with this energy, grow in vibrant colors.
